Temp the wine bar was born from the desire to enhance the passage of time, both in the life of every day and that in the handcraft. The intent is leading the customer to rediscover and appreciate the slowness, patience, maturity and depth as opposed to the rush and the speed imposed by the today's lifestyle.
That is why the interior is thought to be comfortable, cozy and relaxing so that people can enjoy a long stay and are happy to come back. A lounge area conquers the mezzanine, whereas the ground floor is dedicated to the expositions of wines together with the tables for service.
The existing space includes many self standing columns that have been integrated on purpose into the design with the intent of unifying areas within the space. A columns is integrated into the bar area, another defines the staircase and another closes a more intimate area which is visible from the outside and that acts as a vetrine of the wine bar.
As an addition a little room in the back becomes a bottega for when people are interested in buying the products. The high ceiling includes a grid structure that holds fabrics and plants. These not only create a special atmosphere but also help with the acoustic. All materials are thoroughly chosen by their natural and or recycled components: Locally sourced wood, reused furniture, 100% wool curtains, bark-tanned goat leather by-products of industrial processes, organic and biodegradable acoustic panels and linen fabrics.
