The old Hostel of The Hague went through a transformation in the year 2022. It merged forces with the luxurious Hotel next door and began a fresh collaboration. Due to this new synergy the entrance, the bar and the lounge had to become a space for both type of travellers. A new young and yet elegant space came to life. By keeping the raw structure of the existing building and adding new pop colours a whole new identity was formed. For the tables recycled plastic table tops were selected in combinations with recycled textile boards for the benches and biodegradable paint for the walls.
